NAOMI’S FAMILY DAY CARE

I am a mother of two amazing boys ages, 9 & 12 years of age and been married for thirteen years.

We have a beautiful home in Dudley Park (Mandurah) shared with two very lovable puppies, three gold fish and an old cat! We have a closely knit family that strive for a calm and happy environment.

I have been working in childcare for twenty five years and running my Family Day Care business for over four. My FDC is a secondhome to all my children. I strongly believe that if a child feels loved, cared for and that they matter, their world of learning is a positive and a happy experience!

My personal philosophy

Naomi’s Family Day-care service is committed in providing a unique service where each child will learn through environments that foster curiosity and discovery through the use of open-ended resources. Open ended resources and natural environments that can be explored in unlimited imaginative ways that the child chooses. There is no ‘wrong or ‘right’ way to play. This allows children to respond in their own unique and distinctive ways developing competent and involved learners.

I believe strongly in creating a loving and safe environment where children can grow and learn new experiences that will support a good, strong foundation for their future.

My Approach

We enjoy as a FDC going on bush walks, walking to our local park, excursions to other FDC’s, Rhyme Time at our local library
I have taught the piano for many years so music and singing are a big part of our weekly programme
